Center Manager

Are you a Nurse Manager who takes charge and can lead a team of 2-4 medical techs to deliver a high standard of care to patients while acting as a General Manager for your Center?

 

Primary job responsibilities include:

  • Manage Center operations by coordinating and enforcing Center operational, HR, and quality system policies and procedures.
  • Manage Center staff through recruiting, selecting, orienting, and guiding/training Center staff working in collaboration with Corporate HR.
  • Manage and monitor staff performance through coaching and guiding, providing feedback.
  • Manage patient relations and interface with physician office staff through appointment scheduling, confirmations and reminders, patient check-in, and communication of patient issues and/or schedule delays impacting the performance and/or timeliness of conducting the service.
  • Manage documentation of patient services, including prescriptions, patient acknowledgement of services, checklists, etc.
  • Manage records of equipment installations, equipment maintenance and service for Center, contacting 3rd party service support for maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Manage supplies inventory used to support performance of Center, running and reviewing reports against periodic physical inventories, and using data to initiate purchase requisitions of inventory items to Corporate Operations.
  • Manage supply of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) items and services for Center, initiating purchase requisitions for supplies under contract to Corporate or purchasing locally via petty cash.
  • Act as super user for Center systems (scheduling, POS, etc.), running reports from these systems, and sending to Corporate as requested.
  • Responsible for conducting short, regular meetings with Center staff for purposes of providing continuous feedback necessary to achieve best practices and results for the organization.

Applicants must have:

  • An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing plus RN license
  • Recent experience in an acute care setting, preferably in Gastroenterology
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a leadership/supervisory/managerial role
